Join Los Angeles based designer and artist Todd Francis, for an intimate workshop and discussion through his creative process, and learn how to customize a shoe of your own at 1700 Naud Street Gallery on September 11th from 7 pm to 9 pm. For the last two decades Todd has created memorable and iconic skateboard and graphics for a number of companies including the original Antihero logo and the Customade by Vans shoe project. In addition his studio art has been shown in galleries around the world.
Todd will also spend time mentoring in small groups, and field a Q&A at the end of the workshop to help you with our first ever global shoe customization contest. Our shoe is your canvas. Custom Culture gives people the opportunity to showcase their creativity by designing their own show for a chance to win a cash prize and their own custom shoe design.
Three global winners will each receive $25,000 and have their shoe design produced by Vans.
